Three Words That Melt the Heart

by Gregory A. Johnson

Three Words That Melt the Heart, by Gregory A. Johnson
My wife, Becky, and I have been married for over thirty-nine years, and my heart still melts at three words she says to me: “I love you.” She does more than tell me that she loves me; she shows me her love for me through her actions — she is a woman of faith, full of wisdom, a hard worker, a wonderful mother to our children, a marvelous cook, and a meticulous housekeeper. I’m a blessed man.

I have three words for you today — you are loved. Jesus loves you so much that He died for you on an old, rugged cross. He desires to be your strength today and always.

Beloved, know that you are loved today. You are a part of the bride of Christ. The marriage supper of the lamb is coming (Revelation 19:6-9). Be encouraged today. Your total redemption is drawing near. Express your love to the Lord today, telling Him that you love Him. I believe His heart melts as you express your love for Him.

SCRIPTURE: “I love you, Lord; you are my strength” (Psalms 18:1, NLT).

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I thank you for those whom you have put in my life and who love me. I am a blessed person. Most of all I thank you for Jesus Christ, my Lord, and my Savior. You have revealed to me how much you love me through His life, death, and resurrection. You have birthed me into the beloved, the bride of Christ, by the Holy Spirit. I just want to tell you again that I love you. I choose to show you my love today by obeying you and your Word, making your Kingdom known through my words and my actions. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.
