Something Worth Repeating

Something Worth Repeating, by Gregory A. Johnson

I love the Lord’s salvation. The Lord is great!

The Lord’s salvation is not a random act because we sinned. The Lord planned to save us before the foundation of the earth was even formed. In His foreknowledge, He knew that His creation would sin, but He created us anyway. Why? Because we are His inheritance, and He desires to spend eternity with us. The Lord is great!

While we were still sinners, God put His plan into action and sent Jesus to die for our sins. We are cleansed by the blood of Jesus. He has given us the Holy Spirit to make us holy. The Lord is Great!

At the cross, Jesus saved us from the penalty of sin. The Lord is great!

Jesus is currently saving us from the power of sin. The Lord is great!

Jesus is coming again to save us from the presence of sin. The Lord is great!

What is there not to love about God’s salvation? It is available to ALL people. It is free. It is complete. It is unchangeable. It is secure. It lasts forever. It is out of this world! The Lord is great!

Beloved, search for the Lord today and be filled with joy and gladness. Loving the Lord’s salvation, you can repeatedly shout, “The Lord is great!” Amen!

SCRIPTURE: “But may all who search for you be filled with joy and gladness in you. May those who love your salvation repeatedly shout, ‘The Lord is great!’” (Psalms 40:16, NLT).

PRAYER: My gracious Lord, I love your salvation. It fills me with joy and gladness as I think of all you have done, not only for me but for all who search for you. You are great, Lord! You are worthy of praise, honor, and glory. You are great, Lord! I praise your holy name. You are great, Lord! May all of heaven and earth rejoice. I ask you to reveal more of your salvation to me and give me a mind to comprehend it all. In your name, I pray, Jesus. Amen.
